Group vows to continue fight against coastal hazard LIM listings

The Christchurch City Council has changed the details on property records about coastal hazards, but affected residents want the information removed entirely.

They are not happy with the changed wording on the Land Information Memorandum (LIM) reports and are vowing to continue their fight to discredit the Tonkin & Taylor report on which the information is based.

"We have been working with the council to get this overturned and we will continue to do so," said Mark Munro, spokesman for the Christchurch Coastal Residents United group. "The Tonkin & Taylor report should have been thrown out ... and we will take whatever steps we have to, to make that happen."
